Justin Zych is a musician specializing in guitar, bass, and piano. He earned his bachelors degree in music performance from IPFW. He is an experienced international touring musician and guitar technician, who as worked with world renowned bands such as Agent Steel (CA), Viking (CA), THEM (NY/GER), Munroe's Thunder (USA/UK) and many others.

He is a composer of music and has created several compositions for musical groups, commercials and scores for online videos. He has created over 1700 arrangements/transcriptions for clients over the last three years and continues to on a regular basis. Some are as simple and short as a 30 second piano piece and some are as complex and intense as a ten minute orchestral piece. His compositions reflect a mixture of romantic period composition mixed with the complex structures of 20th century composition and jazz. Add a heavy metal element to that and you get a diverse and and new extremely full sound.

His technical prowess and heartfelt melodies define his style and inspire young and old musicians. He has played guitar for over 20 years and continues to excel at his craft by introducing new techniques and musical concepts to his playing.

The Nutcracker is a ballet suite that is performed internationally around Christmas time. Multiple nights of this performance are sold-out during the months of November and December. Trans Siberian Orchestra performs with multiple groups across the world during those months, every year to arena sized crowds. Also during this month, Christmas music and Christmas events are a high profit business. This album that is being pitched to you is a multi-year release that has strong profits during the holidays at the end of the year.

Zych is a project created out of the mind of Justin Zych (Agent Steel, Viking, Zephaniah). He released a Dante’s Inferno Part I and sold out of the initial physical copies during the first year without ever playing a single show. His fascination with orchestras and composition (and a deep hate for bad Christmas music) has created a heavy metal arrangement of The Nutcracker Ballet. Listen to four guitars, one bass and drums recreate all the melodies that Tchaikovsky created for a full orchestra. There will be twenty-four tracks that play every song from the ballet (85 minutes). The only other arrangement of the The Nutcracker was by Trans Siberian Orchestra and it was a medley with only the well-known songs slowed down. There are little to no other hard rock arrangements of this. This album captures the brilliance of what Tchaikovsky intended but with the intense attack of heavy metal playing.

Here is the intention and why I mentioned it is a multi-year release. Here is the broad plan:
Release the initial album on Black Friday (CD, Vinyl, Streaming, music videos, etc.). During this period, there will be live performances with different ballet companies around the nation. One of these will be professionally filmed. The following year - release a live version of the ballet on top of more live performances. The whole plan is to have November/December live performances every year with a ballet (Tours with only the hits and a few dancers as well) and reissue and/or sell old product that did not sell the previous year. On top of this, the potential to license the music to commercials or movies (these songs are instrumental and of course, Christmas themed) and release different versions of the music for Black Friday Record Store Day releases for the next coming years.

Please listen below and take into consideration this music for release..
